MEA India hold Press Conference after Air Strikes, Pakistan still in denial mode
- December 24, 2021
The Ministry of External Affairs, India(MEA) held a press conference after the air strike on Pakistan by the Indian Air Force. On the action of the Air Force, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said that the attack had become necessary. Air strikes were carried out at the Terrorist Organization’s Jaish e Mohammad’s Balakot camp. It has been earlier reported that Maulana Yusuf Azhar was running a training camp of terrorists.
As per the reports, a large number of terrorists were killed by this air-strike carried out by India. Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said after the meeting of the Union Cabinet on Tuesday at the Prime Minister’s residence, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said that Pakistani terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed was preparing to conduct suicide attacks like Pulwama in the other parts of the country and therefore this action was taken on the basis of intelligence.
Ministry of External Affairs said: –
- On the basis of intelligence, India attacked the biggest training camp in Balakot, Jaish-e-Mohammed.
- In this action, the terrorists, who were trained in a large number of Jaish-e-Mohammed’s terrorists, instructors, senior commanders, and fidayeen assault, were eliminated.
- Maulana Yusuf Azhar alias Ustad Gauri, the close relative of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Masood Azhar, who was head of Balakot’s terrorist camp was also eliminated.
- It was confirmed that Jaish-e-Mohammad was trying suicide strikes in different parts of the country and Fidayeen was training the jihadis for it.
- Seeing the impending danger, self-defense was necessary.
- In Pulwama, Jaish attacked the soldiers. JEM has been active in Pakistan since last 2 decades.
- Terror attacks are not possible without the involvement of Pakistan ISI.
- Jams Commander Maulana Yusuf Azhar was running a training camp.
- No civilian was injured in the strike.
It is commendable that in just 12 days after the Pulwama attack, Indian Air Force fighters crossed the border and bombarded the terrorist structures located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on Tuesday, in which several terrorist camps were completely destroyed.
According to sources, 10 to 12 Mirage fighter aircraft of the Air Force caused a huge bombardment in areas like Muzaffarabad, Balakot, and Chakoti at 3:30 in the morning (local time), in which several camps of terrorist Jaish-e-Mohammed, who took responsibility for the Pulwama attack, were completely devastated. It is also being said that a large number of terrorists are killed in this action.
After the Pulwama attack, the air strikes were carried out by entering the PoK while answering the agreement on behalf of India. Air Force’s Mirage Plans have targeted terrorist bases around Balakot and Muzaffarabad at 3.30 am on Tuesdays. National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about this action.
After this counter-response from India, the meetings have begun. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has called an all-party meeting. The meeting will be held at 5 pm at Jawahar Bhawan, Delhi. In the meeting, Sushma Swaraj will inform opposition leaders about India’s action.
Before that, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, and Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and NSA have met the meeting of the CCS at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home. A further action plan was discussed in this meeting. After India’s action, Pakistan could try to respond. Apart from this, it is possible to discuss the strategies of India on the stand of the international community after the Airstrikes.
Pakistan in denial mode about the air strikes
After this air strike, there has been a turmoil in Pakistan and an emergency meeting has been convened by the Ministry of External Affairs in Islamabad. Pakistan has confirmed this attack, although it is hiding the figure of the loss. It is believed that between 200 and 300 terrorists have been killed by this air strike.
The Indian Air Force has carried out this Air Strike through 12 Mirage planes at around 3 am in the morning. In this strike, targets of Jaish targets have been targeted and JeM’s control room alpha-3 has been completely destroyed. It is believed that the Indian Army and the Defense Ministry will tell the media about this whole action in the afternoon.
Pakistan Media is also misreporting the news and towing the State line. They are claiming Indian jets went back after dropping ‘payload’. The denial mode of the Pakistan Government and Media is no surprise because they will never accept the existence of these terrorist camps, although there are undeniable proofs of Pakistan’s involvement in providing assistance and training to terrorists in these camps.
PM Modi Congratules Air Force
After the Pulwama terror attack, Prime Minister Modi warned Pakistan that our troops will respond to this attack in their own right at the right time. After this statement, there was a panic in Pakistan and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan had proposed to negotiate with India. But Pakistan has not been able to fight anymore and since February the Pulwama attack has been continuously violating the cease-fire.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi has also appreciated this action of the Air Force. He has tweeted his support. Also, leaders of all political parties, including former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah from Jammu and Kashmir, have congratulated the countrymen on this action of Indian Air Force.
After the martyrdom of 40 CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, India had given a warning to Pakistan that India will give a strong message and India will take action against Pak-sponsored terrorism. Even in the past, US President Donald Trump has said that in view of the current environment, India is going to ‘do something big’.
